Support Specialist - Addiction Recovery

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Support Specialist to join our team at Seven Counties Services. As a Support Specialist, you will work with individuals who receive services for treatment of mental health, substance abuse, intellectual disability, or physical health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and model activities of daily living (ADL) skills, such as personal hygiene, housekeeping, and meal preparation.
  • Monitor performance of ADL skills and provide therapeutic feedback.
  • Plan and facilitate community-based activities, such as medical appointments and grocery shopping.
  • Collaborate with community systems on behalf of individuals served.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Zero to one year full-time experience working with individuals who receive services for treatment of a mental health, substance abuse, intellectual disability, or physical health condition.
  • Ability to provide nurturing attention and care to individuals with disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of automobile liability insurance.
