About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Manager to lead our Cancer Biomarker Development team in Hertfordshire, UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent OTRO in discussions with clinical asset teams regarding translational studies and tissue profiling for translational work to address key asset team questions.
  • Work with the OTRO external engagement team to identify and implement improved access to fresh tumour tissues through biobanks, CROs and partnerships.
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal Oncology Translational Research teams and with cross-functional partners in disciplines (such as AI/ML, Precision Medicine, Oncology Project Leaders, Oncology Research Units and Oncology Clinical Development) to lead the conduct of translational studies and improve mechanistic understanding of our assets.
  • Manage multiple projects and workstreams, including planning of workload, resourcing requirements and risk management to deliver the team's objectives on time.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards.

This role offers an estimated annual salary of £80,000 - £110,000 depending on experience, making it an attractive opportunity for talented researchers.
