We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sonographer to join our Diagnostic Ultrasound Service team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge Univ Hospitals NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a supportive learning environment for trainee sonographers, promoting their development and growth.
- Contribute to the provision of a high-quality Diagnostic Ultrasound Service, working closely with the superintendent radiographer to ensure seamless departmental operations.
- Take ownership of designated areas of work, demonstrating expertise and a commitment to excellence in diagnostic imaging.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in diagnostic imaging.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
