At Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Radiologist to join our Diagnostic Neuroradiology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of diagnostic neuroradiology services, including cross-sectional imaging, MDT participation, and on-call duties.

The ideal candidate will have completed training in diagnostic radiology and have experience in neuroradiology or a neuroradiology fellowship. They will be responsible for reporting cross-sectional neuro and head and neck radiology scans, as well as contributing to the general duty roster and participating in MDTs. The successful candidate will also be expected to support the development of advanced imaging modalities, such as perfusion, spectroscopy, and functional MRI.

The role will involve working closely with other specialists, including neurologists, neurosurgeons, and radiologists, to provide high-quality care to patients. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and to contribute to the development of our diagnostic neuroradiology services.

We pride ourselves on delivering a State-of-the-Art service, where our patients are at the core of our strategy. We are a Neuroscience centre catering to a large population serving North-east London and are a referral centre for neurosurgery for other trusts in Essex.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide a comprehensive range of diagnostic neuroradiology services, including cross-sectional imaging, MDT participation, and on-call duties.

Requirements
