We are seeking a dedicated Senior Social Care Professional to join our team in Wrexham.

Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of professionalism, expertise, and passion for supporting vulnerable children and their families.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team and be registered with the HCPC.

A competitive salary of £30-£40 per hour (negotiable) is on offer, making this an attractive opportunity for experienced social workers looking to progress their careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • To manage complex cases involving children in need of care and support, child protection, and looked after children.
  • To work closely with other agencies, including Education, Housing, Youth services, and health, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.
  • To respond to the needs of children and their families, working within statutory guidelines, policies, and standards such as the Children Act 1989 and 2004 and the Social Services and Well-being Act 2014.
  • To provide support and guidance to young people moving into independence, completing pathway assessments and plans, and promoting their educational and health potential.
