Job Title:

Social Worker - Children's Services

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified social worker to join our Children Assessment & Intervention Team in Wrexham. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. The Assessment and Intervention Team (AIT) carry out comprehensive assessments with families to identify their needs and work to support them in overcoming difficulties.
  2. Team members proactively help families remain together, but may take legal action to secure the immediate and longer-term safety of children when necessary.
  3. The AIT team is committed to promoting positive outcomes for children, young people, and families.

Working Hours: 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)

Contract Type: Temporary Contract, 3 months

Salary: Competitive pay rates, estimated at £25-£30 per hour based on location and experience
