Senior Accounts Payable Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team at Workman LLP. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and retail properties.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring the timely processing and payment of supplier invoices, while maintaining close relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues. You will work closely with our Property Management teams to provide a best-in-class service to our clients and their suppliers.
This role requires strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills, as well as a high level of attention to detail. You will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring correct and timely setup of new suppliers, and resolving supplier and client queries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Management and training of a diverse accounts payable team
- Ensuring correct and timely setup of new suppliers
- Management of CIS on behalf of our clients
- Weekly payment runs for a variety of clients
- Ensuring all payments are made within supplier credit terms
- Supplier and client query resolution
- Banking duties; BACS/CHAPS, transfers
- Review of departmental controls and ensure both client and internal KPIs are met
We offer a competitive salary of £26,000-£30,000, a hybrid working arrangement, and a range of benefits, including discretionary annual bonus, salary reviews, and lifestyle benefits.
