Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursery Practitioner Level 2 to join our team at Durham DH1 5SE. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of our young pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging activities that meet the needs of individual children;">
  • Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness to inform future planning;">
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote social-emotional learning and support children's mental health and wellbeing;">
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in decision-making processes;">

Requirements

  • ">
  • A recognised qualification in childcare or early years education (Level 2 or above);">
  • Previous experience working with young children, ideally in an early years setting;">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people;">
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with best practices in early years education;">
