Biffa Waste Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled Finance Systems Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our Business Support team, you will play a vital role in the implementation and maintenance of our ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
Key Responsibilities- Functional expert with experience in Finance, Projects, P2P, S2C, Fixed Assets, and Leases modules, responsible for defining new processes and evolving finance ways of working.
- Partner with the BI analytics team to maintain master data and rollout Data Governance requirements across the systems user base.
- Deliver day-to-day operation and maintenance of finance systems, supporting month-end activities and troubleshooting system functional issues.
- Conduct user testing and quality assurance activities for upgrades and new functionality deployments.
- Collaborate with IT and Configuration teams to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
- Support the implementation of new systems and upgrades within Finance.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, customizations, processes, and training materials.
- Stay up-to-date with future Microsoft releases to identify new features for continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, with experience across all Finance modules.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform for extending and integrating with D365 F&O.
- Familiarity with related technologies such as SQL Server, Azure, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong aptitude for accounting principles, finance processes, data management, and relevant exposure to data migration, system integration, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of large company ERP systems and change management principles.
