About the Role

DataTech Analytics is seeking a highly skilled Pricing Engagement Manager to join our expanding team. As a Pricing Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for leading client projects, managing engagement teams, and developing innovative pricing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage client projects, ensuring successful outcomes and timely delivery.
  • Lead the problem-solving process, managing engagement teams, and developing hypotheses.
  • Act as a trusted internal and external pricing expert, covering areas such as price strategy, product-price proposition design, and competitor analysis.
  • Guide engagement teams to create sophisticated communications and present at senior level.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative approaches and methodologies.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff to help them grow and perform professionally.
  • Line manage up to 4 Analyst and Senior Consultant reports, managing their development plans and growth opportunities.
  • Account management - manage client relationships to identify and progress sales opportunities.
  • Proposals - support the leadership team members in driving proposal development.
  • Network - develop a professional network and maintain relationships with clients.

Requirements

  • Circa 5-8 years' relevant experience in a pricing role, including time in a consulting role.
  • High calibre graduate from a leading university with a degree in a numerate subject.
  • Track record of successful project delivery and client management; excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong people leader, adept at managing team's work while developing colleagues' capabilities.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional client facing and interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Interest in mentoring others and helping colleagues' development.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • SQL, statistical packages, R, and Tableau are desirable.
