High Voltage Control System Technician

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills, particularly in the areas of automotive and high-voltage electrical systems. If you have experience working with complex electrical systems, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Install vehicle electrical control systems according to specification requirements.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
- Test and commission the vehicle electrical system according to Quality Assurance documentation.
- Modify vehicle wiring harnesses and components as detailed in contract build documentation.
- Fault-find and repair the vehicle electrical system using bespoke diagnostic software.
- Work overtime when requested by management.
- Undertake training or retraining as required, including the training of others.
The ideal candidate should have:
Time-served automotive, domestic, or industrial electrician
Demonstrate capability to work on systems up to 600V AC or DC.
Capable of reading wiring diagrams.
Demonstrate experience of routing and connection of various cable types.
Specialist Knowledge / Skills:
Demonstrate basic fault-finding techniques.
Disposition:
Good interpersonal skills.
Willing to undertake or provide training as required.
Awareness of general Health and Safety rules.
Circumstances:
Proven ability to be flexible, working overtime and changing shift patterns as required.
Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum.
