Vehicle Electrical Systems Technician

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a skilled Vehicle Electrical Systems Technician to join our team at our facility in the UK.
Main Responsibilities:- Install and test electrical control systems to meet customer requirements and quality standards.
- Maintain compliance with company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Evaluate work against Wrightbus agreed quality standard and ensure sign-offs are completed.
- Modify vehicle wiring harnesses and components as per contract build documentation.
- Terminate automotive and high voltage connections up to 800V AC or DC.
- Test and commission vehicle electrical systems according to Quality Assurance documentation.
- Identify and repair vehicle electrical system faults using bespoke diagnostic software.
- Meet installation targets within allocated process time.
- A minimum of time served experience as an automotive, domestic or industrial electrician.
- Demonstrate capability to work on systems up to 600V AC or DC.
- Proficient in reading wiring diagrams.
- Demonstrate experience of routing and connection of various cable types.
- Apply basic fault-finding techniques.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexible working patterns, including overtime and shift changes.
