About the Role

Fusion People is seeking a skilled Electrical Control Systems Specialist to join our team.

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and testing chassis and body electrical control systems in accordance with customer specifications, ensuring quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain compliance with Fusion People's health and safety policies and procedures.
  • E nsure work is completed to agreed quality standards, adhering to quality sign-offs and procedures.
  • Install vehicle electrical control systems to specification requirements as detailed in relevant documentation.
  • Modify and install vehicle wiring harnesses and components as per contract build documentation.
  • Terminate automotive and high-voltage connections up to 800V AC or DC.
  • Test and commission vehicle electrical systems according to Quality Assurance documentation.
  • Fault-find and repair vehicle electrical systems using bespoke diagnostic software.
  • Complete installations within allocated process times.
  • Be prepared to work overtime when requested by management.
  • Undertake training and retraining as necessary, including introducing new working practices or engineering changes, and train others.
