Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced nurse or allied health professional to join our team as a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will work within a defined scope of practice and to agreed clinical standards. They will provide high-quality clinical care for patients presenting with a variety of conditions, including prescribing and advanced clinical assessment of all systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work autonomously within a multi-professional team led by a Consultant
  • Provide comprehensive clinical assessments, request and interpret investigations, and make decisions regarding treatment
  • Prescribe and evaluate care, referring to other healthcare professionals as necessary
  • Develop and implement research into practice
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have extensive post-registration experience, a considerable amount of which must be as a fully qualified professional within an acute or unscheduled care setting. They will also have evidence of management skills gained through theory and/or practice, as well as experience of mentoring and developing staff.
