This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to develop their clinical skills and knowledge while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Main Duties of the Job
The Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner will work within a defined scope of practice and to agreed clinical standards applied within a Trust-wide and local setting. The role will be multifaceted and include prescribing and advanced clinical assessment of all systems, diagnostic skills, and understanding of investigations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality clinical care for patients presenting with a variety of conditions
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, request and interpret investigations, and make decisions regarding treatment
- Prescribe medication and evaluate care
- Work autonomously while being part of a multi-professional team led by a Consultant
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and clinical skills, as well as evidence of continuing professional development. They will have a strong background in nursing or allied health professions, with a minimum of 3 years post-registration clinical experience. The candidate will also be willing to work towards a recognized advanced practice qualification at level 7.
