Activities Support Professional

Sue Ryder is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Support Professional to join our team at Dee View Court. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.
Your primary objective will be to develop and deliver engaging recreational and social activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents. You will work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive environment, promoting independence, choice, and autonomy. Your expertise in building strong relationships and communicating effectively will be essential in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our residents.
We are looking for someone with a passion for delivering person-centred care, a strong commitment to our values, and a willingness to continuously learn and develop their skills. You will hold a NVQ in Care Level 2 or equivalent, have experience in a similar role, and be skilled in interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. A degree in a related field would be advantageous. We offer a competitive salary of £12 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package including a company pension scheme, 27 days holiday, and free uniform. The estimated annual salary for this role is £24,960 - £29,760.
