About the Role:
As a Care and Activities Coordinator at Sue Ryder, you will play a vital part in enhancing the daily lives of residents at Dee View Court. Your role will be to enable participation in recreational and social activities, encouraging independent choice.

This is a unique opportunity to work with people living with complex neurological conditions in Scotland's only purpose-built specialist neurological centre. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with other staff members to provide exceptional care and support.

Key responsibilities include enabling service users to participate in activities of their choice, maintaining client morale through communication and contact, and participating in the Care Plan process as an Associate Key Worker. You will also be responsible for attending to and assisting clients in achieving a high standard of physical care.

The ideal candidate will have a NVQ in Care Level 2 or relevant subject/training, understanding of health/social care sector work, and experience in a similar role. You will be skilled in interacting with all types of people, able to work as part of a team, and communicate effectively. You will also possess excellent time management and organisational skills, as well as a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.

Sue Ryder offers competitive pay for nights, weekends, and public holidays, a company pension scheme, 27 days holiday rising to 33 with length of service, free uniform, and Employee Networks for diversity and inclusion. This role is available on a £12 per hour salary, with a total estimated annual salary of £25,000 - £30,000, depending on the number of hours worked.
