We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Lead to join our team at CareTech Group. As a Service Lead, you will be responsible for leading and directing the day-to-day operational management of our Youth Support Service, ensuring that available resources are used effectively to provide high-quality support to vulnerable young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct the day-to-day operational management of the Service
  • Ensure that available resources are used effectively to provide good quality support
  • Operate with clear and consistent approaches in line with CareTech Group's policies and procedures
  • Promote the welfare, safety, personal development, and well-being of young people receiving support at the service
  • Work closely with the service development team to participate in the selection and compatibility of potential new residents, their assessment, and transition into the Service if appropriate
  • Monitor and adhere to Health & Safety legislation and good practice
  • Undertake the management of assessing young people's needs and developing individual support plans from the information
  • Support and develop staff, carrying out staff supervision and appraisal
Requirements
  • Level 5 essential or commitment to complete within 2 years
  • Level 3 CCYP and relevant experience will be considered in exceptional circumstances
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends on a rota basis, and sometimes short notice changes in shifts
