Job Title: Youth Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Support Worker to join our team at Linx 16 Plus. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting young people between the ages of 16-18 in our supported accommodation.

About the Role:

As a Youth Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing a consistent and caring adult role model to our young people. This will involve:

  • Supporting them through the challenges of independence
  • Being emotionally available to listen to their views and feelings
  • Promoting and building positive relationships in a nurturing environment
  • Planning and engaging in shared activities with the team and our young people
  • Creating an environment that our young people deserve to be a part of
  • Identifying and developing opportunities for the young people to grow and thrive within the home
About the Rota:

Our rota is designed to provide a balance of work and rest periods. Each shift is 8 hours long, with sleep-ins available for an additional £50 per night. The rota is a 3-week rolling cycle, with one day on, two days off.
