Job Title: Youth Work Practice Manager

Join Hertfordshire County Council's Services for Young People team as a Youth Work Practice Manager and play a key role in delivering high-quality youth work services to vulnerable and at-risk individuals and groups.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Youth Work Practice Manager to lead our district youth work teams and drive the delivery of preventative programmes, evidencing outcomes and delivering to targets and contracts.

As a Youth Work Practice Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing a team of youth workers to deliver high-quality services to young people
  • Developing and implementing effective performance management systems to drive continuous improvement and achievement
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including partners, young people, parents, and colleagues
  • Ensuring the delivery of targeted prevention and early intervention work to support young people's transition to adulthood
