Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant to join our team at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a busy caseload of clients with a range of mental health problems, utilizing your expertise in Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) to provide high-quality care.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess and treat young patients and families in acute and community psychiatric settings.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each client.
  • Participate in user involvement initiatives to ensure that services are responsive to the needs of our clients and their families.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice in CAMHS.
Requirements
  • CCT or equivalent qualification in CAMHS.
  • Substantial experience of managing a busy caseload of clients with a range of mental health problems.
  • Evidence of working within a community mental health setting.
  • Excellent clinical assessment skills, with the ability to manage risk and make informed decisions.
  • Awareness of community structures and social care options and processes.
  • Understanding of recovery principles in mental health.
