We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant to join our team at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a busy caseload of clients with a range of mental health problems, utilizing your expertise in Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) to provide high-quality care.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess and treat young patients and families in acute and community psychiatric settings.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each client.
- Participate in user involvement initiatives to ensure that services are responsive to the needs of our clients and their families.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice in CAMHS.
- CCT or equivalent qualification in CAMHS.
- Substantial experience of managing a busy caseload of clients with a range of mental health problems.
- Evidence of working within a community mental health setting.
- Excellent clinical assessment skills, with the ability to manage risk and make informed decisions.
- Awareness of community structures and social care options and processes.
- Understanding of recovery principles in mental health.
- Participation in user involvement initiatives.
