About Our Mental Health Practitioner Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our dynamic Home Treatment Team, Crisis Hub, and Mental Health Connect Helpline. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with a Psychiatrist, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Approved Mental Health Practitioners, Social Workers, CAPS, Wellbeing Coaches, and Support Time Recovery Workers to deliver high-quality mental health care to individuals in crisis.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience working with service users in mental health crises, leadership and management skills, and a commitment to promoting positive mental health and wellbeing. You will be responsible for providing interventions, support, guidance, and signposting to individuals in crisis, and will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to respond to mental health crisis calls and referrals.

We offer a generous relocation package and a full-time post with 13 long days/nights over a 4-week period. Part-time hours are also considered. Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of an established integrated multi-disciplinary Home Treatment Team, Crisis Hub, and Mental Health Connect Helpline
  • Provide interventions, support, guidance, and signposting to individuals in crisis
  • Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to respond to mental health crisis calls and referrals
  • Rotate between working in Home Treatment Team, Crisis Hub, and Mental Health Connect Helpline to build and broaden your experience
  • Contribute to the development of our services to deliver top-quality mental health care for those in crisis
