About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant to join our team at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a busy caseload of clients with a range of mental health problems
  • Assess and treat young patients and families in acute & community psychiatric settings
  • Offer expert opinion on a range of problems in child and adolescent psychiatry
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
Requirements
  • CCT/ or equivalent in CAMHS
  • Substantial experience of managing a busy caseload
  • Excellent clinical assessment skills
  • Ability to manage risk
  • Awareness of community structures and social care options
  • Understanding of recovery principles in mental health
Desirable Skills
  • Participation in user involvement in services
  • Awareness of community structures and social care options
