Job Description
We are seeking a full-time experienced Optical Assistant to support our optometrist team in visiting patients in care homes and their own homes. The ideal candidate will have a sympathetic approach and empathy, as most patients are elderly and some may be unwell.
This is a Monday to Friday role, with no weekends required, covering a radius up to 50 miles from your home postcode. You must be a confident driver and hold a full driving licence for at least 2 years.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as an Optical Assistant
- Confident driving skills and a full driving licence for at least 2 years
- Sympathetic approach and empathy when working with patients
