Principal Optical Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Optical Engineer to join our team at IC Resources in Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing optical systems for quantum information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop optical setups for optimizing quantum optical devices
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement new technologies
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the team, with potential opportunities for management responsibilities

Requirements:

  • PhD in Physics, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Experience developing optical microscopes
  • Experience in free space and fibre optical systems
  • Proficiency in tools such as MATLAB, Zemax, and Python
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
