Derbyshire County Council Adult Care is seeking a highly skilled Senior Practitioner to join the High Peak South Social Work Team on a full-time permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial knowledge and experience of statutory responsibilities under The Care Act 2014, with a proven track record of implementing principles from The Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.

As a key member of the team, you will support the Service Manager in providing effective leadership, including supervising and developing less experienced colleagues, delivering training sessions as needed, and leading peer supervision initiatives.

You will be responsible for managing complex cases, promoting a strength-based approach, and demonstrating an awareness of local resources and structures.

A competitive salary of approximately £42,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role in driving high-quality professional standards and service delivery within the team.
