Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our DPI team, specializing in developing advanced technologies for monitoring, analyzing, and storing network traffic on high-bandwidth networks.

As a DPI Software Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with a variety of technologies and applications, leveraging expertise in network architecture, packet-level data processing, and sophisticated traffic analyzers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with small, task-oriented teams to drive progress on broader initiatives
  • Developing robust software solutions for real-time traffic inspection and data storage
  • Collaborating with experienced members to ensure visibility into network activities and detect anomalies

This role offers a hybrid setup, with a minimum requirement of two days per week in our Cambridge office.

Requirements

We're looking for candidates with a solution-focused mindset, combined with an analytical approach to problem-solving.

Key qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in C++ programming and experience with production environments
  • Familiarity with Linux environments, Docker, and containers
  • Knowledge of networking and domain concepts
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team

Experience with statistical analysis, cloud computing environments, and other programming languages is beneficial but not essential.
