Location: Remote
Salary: Competitive hourly rate
Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday (Hybrid with a min of 3 days on site)
Temporary: 3 months with the possibility of extension
Adecco is seeking a Fire Safety Specialist for a temporary position. If you have a strong passion for fire safety and expertise in the field, we want to hear from you As a Fire Safety Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our client meets all Fire and Building Safety legislation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting inspections and overseeing remedial works to reduce the risk of fire to all housing stock
- Assisting in the creation of specialist fire engineering reports and Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs)
- Managing projects and technical works in the housing sector
- Negotiating with stakeholders and providing assurance
- Solving problems and ensuring compliance with fire safety standards and legislation
Requirements:
- A strong knowledge of fire safety and technical expertise in building surveying
- The ability to be on site for at least 3 days a week
- A technical qualification in the field
- Extensive knowledge of fire safety standards in the housing sector
- Up-to-date knowledge of legislation and industry standards
- Broad technical knowledge of building construction across a wide range of asset archetypes
