Home Care Support Specialist

Care South at Home, a leading not-for-profit charity, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Support Specialist to join our Somerset Care at Home team. In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.
This position requires a strong commitment to delivering excellent care and building meaningful relationships with clients. As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in helping us provide good quality care that meets the unique needs of each individual.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need previous experience in a care setting, with a strong focus on providing personal care, such as personal hygiene, toileting, and dressing. You should also be flexible in your working hours, able to work early or late shifts between 7 am and 10 pm, and every other weekend. Additionally, you will need to hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake one.
We offer a competitive salary of £12.00 per hour weekdays and £14.00 per hour weekends, with enhanced rates on Bank Holidays. Other benefits include a 40p per mile mileage allowance, paid fortnightly, a £500 'Refer a Friend' bonus scheme, and a Blue Light discount card.
