About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group. As a key member of our site operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary tasks and ensure that tasks are carried out safely, on time, and to the required standard.
  • Assist the Site Manager in chairing and leading regular subcontractor coordination meetings to monitor progress against programme and ensure HSE and quality compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Business Management System and promote a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
  • Focus on reducing NHBC RI rates and minimizing wastage.
  • Take ownership of administrative tasks, including requisitioning materials, checking delivery, and ensuring correct storage and protection.
  • Develop and maintain customer, client, and supply chain relationships to drive high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Be commercially aware of the implications of decisions taken on site and identify potential savings throughout the build.
  • Establish and maintain line and level control on site.
  • Deliver projects on programme, with a focus on quality and zero defects at handover.
Requirements
  • Valid First Aid at Work Certificate
  • NVQ Level 3-4 BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar
  • Valid Scaffold Inspection certificate
  • Qualified to the required CIOB Grade applicable at the time in accordance with group policy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Asta
  • Experience in a management or supervisory position
  • Knowledge of NHBC Standards and HBF ratings
