About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Community Carer to join our team at Brunelcare. As a Senior Community Carer, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to clients in their own homes, including washing, dressing, and food preparation.
  • Working closely with the Team Leader and sharing on-call responsibilities.
  • Supporting with administrative tasks, setting up person-centred support plans, and liaising with other healthcare professionals and families.
  • Administering medication in line with a client's care plan, with full training provided.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client care and support.

About You:

  • You will have a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience in the care sector.
  • You will have previous line management experience, although this is not essential.
  • You will possess a naturally kind and patient personality, with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • You will have a respectful nature towards the dignity and privacy of others.
  • You will be able to work on your own initiative, with strong timekeeping skills and a driving licence and own vehicle.
