Community Children's Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Children's Nurse to join our team at Sirona care & health CIC. As a Community Children's Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to children with non-malignant life-threatening or life-limiting conditions in their own homes or community settings.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the training and development of parents, carers, and other professionals to enable children to be cared for in a variety of settings.
- Ensure that care is delivered to agreed standards and within the policy framework of Sirona: care and health and NMC guidelines.
- Be responsible for maintaining and updating own clinical competence and skills.
- Promote a family-centered approach to care and work towards empowerment of the child's family to take a lead in their child's care.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the conditions that affect the children on the Lifetime caseload.
- Liaise with the band 6 nurses when there are changes in the child/family's needs.
- Work as part of the Lifetime core nursing team to provide clinical advice and support to the multi-agency teams.
- RSCN/RN Child registered on part 8 or 15 NMC register.
- Community Children's Nursing experience.
- Desirable: Experience in a Paediatric HDU or PICU environment.
