About the Role

Gloucestershire County Council is seeking a skilled Community Safety Advisor to join their team. As a Community Safety Advisor, you will play a vital role in improving outcomes for vulnerable communities in Gloucestershire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange and deliver Safe and Well visits to residents in their own homes to provide fire safety equipment and advice.
  • Provide early intervention and prevention activities on health and wellbeing priorities.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of community safety services.

Requirements

  • Interest in delivering fire safety messages and understanding of community safety-related issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of partnership working, community safety legislation, and safeguarding processes.
  • Full UK driving license.
