About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our Civil Engineering Team in our Hook office. As a key member of our team, you will play a leading role in shaping the future of our infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate detailed design and implementation of infrastructure projects, including highways, drainage, and development infrastructure.
  • Provide technical input into the planning process and support the wider team's financial and commercial management through robust project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including private sector and local authority clients.
  • Manage project resources and delegate tasks to junior staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our project delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Chartered status with at least 8 years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of the financial and contractual aspects of planning, bidding, and delivering projects.
  • Proven record of client care and business development, with experience in liaising with highways, water, statutory, and local authorities.
  • Relevant qualifications (Bachelor or Masters) in Civil Engineering.
  • Ability to direct and check the use of relevant software, such as MicroDrainage and AutoCAD.
