Job Title: Senior Test Automation Engineer

Type: Fixed Term Contract for 1 year

Job Overview: As a Senior Test Automation Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of mobile applications (iOS). This role involves collaboration with the development and QA teams to create test cases/plan, execute and report, identify automation opportunities, and maintain test automation frameworks.

Your Role
  • Design and Develop Automated Test Scripts: Utilize automation tools such as Selenium, Worksoft, or similar to create efficient and effective automated test scripts.
  • Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with developers to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and deployment pipeline.
  • Maintain and Enhance Test Automation Framework: Continuously improve and maintain the test automation framework to support new features and improve test coverage.
  • Analyze Test Results and Report Defects: Analyze test results, report defects, and work with the team to resolve issues.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Latest Test Automation Techniques and Tools: Stay current with the latest test automation techniques and tools to ensure the highest quality of work.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in eCommerce Domain: Experience in the eCommerce domain is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Ruby.
  • Experience with Automation Tools: Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Worksoft, or similar.
  • Knowledge of Software QA Methodologies: Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Work Environment:

This role is an office-based role at a London location. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Your Security Clearance:

To be successfully appointed to this role, you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
