About Our Client

Our client requires ongoing support due to their complex health conditions and specialist care requirements. We are recruiting dedicated teams of complex care professionals committed to supporting this package of care on an ongoing basis.

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Care Specialist to provide exceptional care to our clients in Newton Abbot. As a key member of our complex care team, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred care to adults with complex health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and healthcare tasks related to the client's specific needs
  • Supporting with administering medication (medication via PEG training will be given)
  • Moving and handling patients with care and sensitivity

About the Role:

You will work closely with our qualified Nurse Managers to ensure that our clients receive high-quality care and support in their own homes. Your duties may include:

  • Delivering key health provision functions
  • Overseeing medication administration
  • Providing moving and handling support

Requirements:

  • Experience in complex care at home, working with adults
  • Ability to deliver person-centred care within a client's own home environment
  • Full training and clinical support provided

Educational Requirements:

A minimum of 12 hours' experience in adult care is preferred, but not essential. Full training will be provided to successful candidates.

Salary: £11-£21 per hour, depending on experience
