Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team at Uniserve (U K) Ltd. As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our 400+ users have seamless access to essential applications and information assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and Maintain User Accounts: You will be responsible for creating and maintaining user accounts, ensuring that all users have the necessary access to applications and information assets.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Desktop Equipment and Software Access Issues: You will troubleshoot and resolve desktop equipment and software access issues, providing remote support and conducting on-site visits as needed.
  • Set Up and Configure New IT Equipment: You will set up and configure new IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Maintain and Upgrade Existing User Equipment: You will maintain and upgrade existing user equipment, ensuring that all devices are up-to-date and running smoothly.
  • Install and Configure Operating Systems and Computer Software: You will install and configure operating systems and computer software, ensuring that all users have the necessary tools to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Troubleshoot Basic Network and Connection Issues: You will troubleshoot basic network and connection issues, ensuring that all users have a stable and secure connection to the network.
  • Prioritize and Manage Logged Issues: You will prioritize and manage logged issues, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide Support for VOIP Telephone Systems and Mobile Phones: You will provide support for VOIP telephone systems and mobile phones, ensuring that all users have the necessary support to use these systems effectively.
  • Maintain the Asset Database: You will maintain the asset database, ensuring that all IT assets are accurately tracked and accounted for.
  • Dispose of End-of-Life Equipment: You will dispose of end-of-life equipment, ensuring that all IT assets are properly recycled and disposed of.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong Understanding of Microsoft 365, Thin Client IGEL, Desktop/Laptop Windows 10, Citrix, and VOIP Telephony Using 3CX: You will have a strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Thin Client IGEL, Desktop/Laptop Windows 10, Citrix, and VOIP telephony using 3CX.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting Skills: You will have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ability to Work Effectively Both Independently and as Part of a Team: You will have the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
