Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at St Luke's Hospice as a Lymphoedema Specialist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with lymphoedema, ensuring a holistic approach to their treatment.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients with lymphoedema and develop personalized care plans.
- Provide specialist lymphoedema treatment, including manual lymphatic drainage, multi-layer bandaging, and skin care.
- Educate patients and their families about lymphoedema management and self-care techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Engage in ongoing research and professional development to stay current with advancements in lymphoedema treatment.
- Provide support and training to healthcare colleagues and volunteers on lymphoedema management.
