About the Role

As a Lymphoedema Nurse Specialist at St Luke's Hospice, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional care to patients with lymphoedema. Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients with lymphoedema and develop tailored care plans.
  • Deliver expert lymphoedema treatment, including manual lymphatic drainage, multi-layer bandaging, and skin care.
  • Educate patients and their families on lymphoedema management and self-care techniques.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Engage in ongoing research and professional development to stay current with advancements in lymphoedema treatment.
  • Provide support and training to healthcare colleagues and volunteers on lymphoedema management.
