Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Development Manager to join our team and drive the development of our materials platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between our commercial, technical, and scientific teams to ensure the successful realization of our product vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion the Product Vision: Translate business goals and customer needs into clear product requirements and features, ensuring feasibility by working closely with our development team.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our commercial, technical, and scientific teams to define and evolve the platform development roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
  • Develop and Manage Project Plans: Create and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Conduct Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify needs, trends, and opportunities, translating these into development actions.
  • Lead Product Backlog Refinement: Prioritize features based on impact and feasibility, ensuring that our product roadmap aligns with customer needs and business goals.
  • Manage Stakeholder Expectations: Clearly communicate realistic goals, expectations, timelines, and key milestones to stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned and informed.
Requirements
  • Proven Product Management Experience: Proven ability to translate business goals and user needs into well-defined product requirements and features.
  • Strong Understanding of Product Management Methodologies: Strong understanding of product management methodologies, such as Agile, and their application in a tech environment.
  • Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience in Project Management: Experience in creating and managing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
