About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Materials Specialist to lead our programme of exploring, developing and scaling new-to-business or new-to-category materials innovations. This is a fixed term contract covering maternity leave.

  • Develop and manage a materials innovation strategy and pipeline that supports the wider business in meeting its strategic goals and sustainability targets, and mitigating business risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in Global Materials to align strategies and enable transition of innovation materials into the global materials library.
  • Foster and maintain an external network of partners to leverage external resources and expertise that enhance the pipeline of materials for innovation and NPI projects.
About You:
  • You will have knowledge and experience of working with stakeholders in Global Materials to align strategies and enable transition of innovation materials.
  • You will have experience improving product performance metrics from developing alternatives to improved sustainability, durability and strength.
  • You will have excellent coaching and communication skills.
  • You will be resilient and adaptable in navigating ambiguity.
