Clinical Podiatry Specialist

The Podiatry Service in Central London Community Health Trust is dedicated to innovation and change. We are seeking a highly skilled Podiatry Team Member to join our team and contribute to the development of a new care pathway that utilises clinical sciences to provide targeted, patient-centred care for referrals to the podiatry service.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and be part of a team that champions community healthcare. You will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing patients with a diverse range of medical and podiatric conditions, creating and implementing tailored treatment plans, and working as part of a specialist team.
Main duties of the job
- To participate in the CLCH Podiatry band 6 rotational programs.
- To autonomously assess and diagnose patients with a diverse range of medical and podiatric conditions, using appropriate diagnostic techniques, skills and tools.
- To create and implement a tailored treatment and specialised care plans using a variety of appropriate treatment regimes for a range of patient groups including those in the 'high risk' and 'at risk' categories.
- To undertake additional specialist clinics as part of CPD and a clinical rotation programme.
- To recommend the use of a limited number of prescription medicines.

Person Specification
- Evidence of continual professional and personal development.
- Registration with the Health Professions Council.
- Certificate in local anaesthesia.
- Post graduate clinical experience of multidisciplinary and interagency working.
- Experience of working with a wide range of patient and disease/pathology types.
