Job Title: Weekend Podiatrist

Join our team of healthcare professionals at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust as a Weekend Podiatrist. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced podiatrist to work in our Greenwich MSK team.

About the Role:
  • Provide specialist MSK podiatry treatment to clients within the Greenwich community, through application of research & evidence-based care.
  • Assess and treat patients referred with complaints of the lower limb within specialist community clinics.
  • Work alongside Physiotherapists to provide seamless musculoskeletal treatment plans across primary & secondary care.
  • Contribute to the team training rota and provide education to the physio MDT regarding podiatry issues.
  • Undertake clerical duties as and when required, including appointment making, ordering of drugs, dressings, and stationary items.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced neurological & biomechanical assessment of foot function to isolate the cause of the pathology.
  • Work within both the Adults MSK service within the 1st line management service as required.
  • Be responsible for the protection of health and wellbeing of all clients, alerting others to concerns where protection may be required.
  • Year of MSK podiatry experience.
Requirements:
  • Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
  • Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) check.
  • Skilled worker sponsorship to work in the UK.
