We are seeking an experienced and skilled podiatrist to join our Specialist Podiatry Service in East London, working within community clinics, domiciliary settings, and Mile End Hospital. This role involves daily participation in our Emergency Clinic at 8:30am Monday-Friday, providing Gold standard active wound care.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, offering specialist podiatric assessment and treatment via a holistic approach to a varied and complex caseload. You will be involved in treatment planning for foot complications associated with diabetes, vascular, and ischaemic long-term conditions, and will be part of the foot protection team treating foot ulceration as part of community health services.
Key Responsibilities:- Treatment planning for patients with complex foot pathologies
- Participation in nail surgery and ulcer management clinics
- Collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- BSc (Pod) or equivalent qualification
- One year's postgraduate work experience
- Current Registration with HCPC
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience of clinics with patients presenting with complex and varied pathologies
- Advanced hands-on experience in treating high-risk patients
