Podiatry Clinical Development Specialist

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced clinical specialist podiatrist to join our award-winning team as a Podiatry Clinical Development Specialist. We are seeking a dedicated professional who can drive quality improvement and develop the registered and non-registered podiatry workforce.
The role focuses on the four pillars of practice - clinical, education, leadership, and research. Ideally, the candidate should have experience in adult and children's podiatry community pathways of care.
You will be based at the CLCH Academy in Central London, where you will be highly visible and work Trust-wide. You will be encouraged to develop and optimise your clinical expertise, promoting education and learning opportunities for the podiatry workforce at CLCH.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing quality and range of learning and development opportunities for all bands of clinical staff within the registered and non-podiatry workforce to ensure safe and effective patient care and practice.
- Supporting and facilitating the development of podiatry clinical practice through ensuring appropriate support mechanisms with supervision, direct observations of practice competency frameworks, and learning contracts are being implemented.
- Creating, coordinating, providing, and evaluating training programmes and development activities for all registered and unregistered podiatry clinical staff.
- Developing strategies which enhance podiatry staff recruitment, career development workforce objectives, and staff satisfaction.
- Promoting and role modeling high standards of care through the demonstration of clinical expertise and quality improvement.
- Facilitating a positive learning environment in the workplace where staff development is encouraged and supported.
- Induction, education, and continuing professional development for all levels of registered and non-registered podiatry staff within the division, profession, and/or specialty.
