About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Regeneration Officer to join our dynamic team at Camden Council. As a key member of our Area Regeneration Team, you will play a leading role in delivering our We Make Camden vision and objectives.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the regeneration process and be able to apply it to achieve high-quality placemaking and deliver benefits for residents, communities, and businesses. You will have experience scoping, project managing, reporting, and delivering placemaking projects in an urban regeneration context.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of place-based regeneration projects that address local issues and achieve strategic outcomes.
  • Working with multiple local stakeholders and partnership building, including local residents, community organisations, local businesses, and public bodies.
  • Managing and supporting projects to ensure they are delivered on time, budget, and to a high standard.
  • Preparing reports, both verbal and written, for audiences including elected members, public forums, and formal decision-making boards/committees.
  • Preparing public communications and consultation materials.

We are looking for a self-starter with excellent team working, collaboration, and partnership building skills. You must be comfortable working with complexity, across a diverse range of disciplines and stakeholders, to creatively problem-solve and deliver projects on the ground.
