About the Role

The Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join their team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will involve working with patients who require early intervention and support for their mental health needs.

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients, providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members, and contributing to the development of new treatments and services. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise through ongoing education and training programs.

The successful candidate will have a medical degree and registration with the GMC, as well as experience working in a psychiatric setting. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. An estimated salary for this position is around £110,000-£150,000 per year, depending on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Assess and treat patients with mental health conditions
* Provide clinical supervision and training to junior staff members
* Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new treatments and services
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimize patient outcomes
