We are pleased to announce several openings for a Counselling Educator to join our esteemed Counselling department on fixed-term contracts, offering both part-time and full-time opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will facilitate specialized programs centered on Counselling, aligning with the college's educational offerings and contributing to our institutional goals. Your efforts will be directed towards achieving successful outcomes for students and enhancing their overall experience at the College.

This position provides the opportunity to deliver engaging and interactive teaching, learning, and assessment at an exemplary standard, ensuring exceptional success for all learners while meeting established targets. You will share responsibility within course teams for the quality of course delivery and manage an agreed teaching load, instructing groups of students across one or more core program areas.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in counselling, a dedication to student development, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, along with the ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.

To excel in this role, you should hold a recognized teaching qualification (Level 5 or above) or be willing to pursue this qualification. A strong understanding of current trends in the field of Counselling is essential, coupled with the ability to effectively teach and inspire students.
