Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our students.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide 1:1 support for a current year 11 student, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
• Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly, and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans.
• Assist with the display of pupils' work and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere.

Requirements

• Experience of working in a school or educational establishment, with the ability to work unsupervised with classes or groups of pupils.
• Educated to NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications or experience.
• Possess a Level 2 Qualification in English and Maths.
• Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.
