Job Details

Job Role: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in a supportive role.

Visa Sponsorship: Unfortunately, we cannot sponsor visas for this position.

Key Stage: The successful candidate will be working with Key Stage 1 and 2 students.

Working Pattern: This is a part-time position, 32.5 hours per week, term time only, with 4 training days. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 15:15pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break.

Contract Type: This is a fixed-term contract, 1 year, to cover maternity or parental leave.

Pay Scale: The salary for this position is Grade 4, Point 5-7, £18,609-£19,205 per annum.

Requirements and Responsibilities

Key Skills and Experience: The successful candidate must have a good understanding and experience within the Early Years Foundation Stage. A strong background in reading, writing, and phonics is desirable. The ideal candidate will be a positive, cheerful team player with a growth mindset attitude and a willingness to learn. They must be passionate about children's learning and wellbeing.

Qualifications: The candidate should have excellent skills in English and Maths (GCSE C or equivalent) and other curriculum areas. They should have high expectations of the pupils and of themselves, and have already achieved or be in the process of achieving Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
